I Just Discovered You “The Nerdy Christian”, And So Thankful That I Did. I Hope To Find Part One Of This Series. Part 2, Hit Right Where I'm At. Thank You So Very Much For This Writing.
Dude, brother-man. Awesome stuff. Keep pushing in the direction you’re pushing. He’ll give you super powers that make you ask yourself “Is this for real?” Its almost too real lol.
Crazy thing is I just found your writings this morning and the first one I read was this one. I feel the same. Praise God he keeps pulling us back to his reality.
Almost scrolled past your post, but something made me stop and take a look. I think it was the picture of the swinging bridge. I felt myself almost have a panic attack looking at that picture and wondering if I could actually be brave enough to make that journey. What would I do? Would I turn back or be paralyzed with fear. I have been feeling that my walk with the Lord is pushing me into this same kind of panic attack. Big life decisions coming up and God in his mercy led me to a book that has been on my bookshelf for maybe 15 years and spoke to me saying “read this”. It’s called Abandonment to Divine Providence by Jean.-Pierre De Caussade.
Pretty deep stuff but bottom line is that God is after absolute surrender which requires knowing vs. believing. It’s exciting and terrifying but I’m ready to go all the way!!
I have the same struggle - i don't expect it's at all uncommon. Doesn't make it easier, we still have to step out in faith (whatever that might mean...)

You definitely touched a nerve on this one. Than you for saying it so plainly. I needed to hear this.
Holy Father, I believe, but please help my unbelief. Help me to show the depth of my belief through my actions. Amen.

Awesome. I'll go look for it.
Quick question: Where is your Nerdy Musings, Week 1? Am I overlooking it somewhere?
I adjusted the title slightly this week. Just adjusted last week's to match!
